William
Senior Deacon
Bill Bishop served as a Deacon of Hopewell for 43 years. It is with great sadness that we inform everyone that Bill was called to his heavenly home on June 3, 2024. He was involved in a fatal car accident. Our church is mourning the loss of not only Bill but his beloved wife Martha. Please remember the family and the church in prayer. Thank you
Tony Butcher
Pastor
Pastor Tony attended Bible College at the Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs. Pastor Tony along with his wife Kay, have served in the ministry for 61 years. The Butchers have pastored churches in Kansas, Colorado, Alabama, Texas, and Missouri. Pastor Tony has been our current pastor for 23 years. He and his wife Kay have 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Carl Button
Deacon
Carl Button has been a Deacon at Hopewell Church for 28 years. Carl serves as the Sunday School Superintendent and as a Sunday School teacher. He is a retired Agriculture teacher. Carl enjoys raising cattle on the family farm and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite pastime would be working on and collecting International Harvester Farm tractors.
Quinten Bishop
Deacon
Quinten Bishop has served as a Deacon of Hopewell Church for 28 years. Quinten also serves as Song Leader and Sunday School teacher. He is a building contractor by trade. Quinten enjoys woodworking, traveling, and collecting antiques. His favorite pastime would be with his guitar and Dobro. He enjoys playing and singing at church, local jam sessions, and with his Dad, Bill Bishop.
